One of the more enjoyable aspects of Football is the international stage when some of the world’s best players combine to play for one team and play against other footballing giants. International tournaments are some of the most watched and attended events in the world, not just in sports. The latest World Cup and the upcoming Euros are examples of some of the biggest international tournaments that bring in the most revenue and attention to the sport.

As much as I hate to admit it, we have to start it off with the current World Champions and the current best team in the world for that matter. After the major success of their 2022 World Cup campaign, the Argentina national side became one of the most enjoyable World Cup winners to watch, with a large number of their games being some of the best in the tournament. Upon reaching the final, they thought a comfortable victory was on the cards when they went 2-0 up against France. What happened after helping this World Cup Final become one of the best football matches I have ever seen live. The twists and turns throughout the game and the final result with Lionel Messi being crowned as one of the greatest footballers of all time, it was a special thing to watch live.

Brazil

Now onto Argentina’s better half, our squad is looking stronger and stronger by the year and by the time the next World Cup comes around, I’m sure when you look at international Euro betting you will see the nation with the most World Cups leading the betting odds. With young players like Endrick and Vini Junior getting older and better with their age, the attacking threat we bolster could be one of our best and most exciting assets.

Portugal

Portugal has a squad that is filled with not only some of the best current players in the world but some of the best of this generation. With players like Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the best player of all time in my opinion, and players like Bernardo Silva who gets constant minutes for one of the best teams of all time, Manchester City. They are definitely sound and offer a lot going forward with Rafael Leao being a newer player in the international fold and lighting up the team whenever he plays.

England

One of my favorite teams to watch in the world is England. Even though we just comfortably beat them at Wembley, they are filled with young players who are getting better over time and slowly entering their prime. The Euros are coming up and this feels like the ultimate time for England to get a trophy and break what feels like a curse that holds over them. Some of the World’s best players play for England like Harry Kane and Phil Foden and the young talent, Jude Bellingham, who plays with the aforementioned Vini Junior, seems to be the heart and soul of the team with most of our attacks going through him.

France

France are consistently one of the best teams in every tournament they play at. They have some of the world’s best players in each position and feel like a team which is the missing factor for a lot of international squads. They know how to win and have done it before and they are filled with a lot of leaders and strong mentality players. They have players like Mbappe, who is arguably the best player in the world and utility men like Griezmann who play their best football when they play for France. Not only are they strong in attacking but defensively they are strong too with some of the defenders being some of the best in the world, like Saliba and Konate.
